Rudolph Foods Celebrates 3rd Annual Truck Driver Appreciation Week With $1,500 Cash Prize
LIMA, Ohio (July 1, 2013) – Rudolph Foods, the world’s largest manufacturer of pork rinds, is celebrating National Truck Driver Appreciation Week (NTDA) September 15-21, 2013 with a ten-week campaign that begins July 15, celebrating the spirit of the American truck driver. In the campaign, Rudolph Foods will pay tribute to truck drivers across America by asking what being a truck driver means to them. In an effort to celebrate this hard working segment of our country—who is responsible for transporting nearly all of the food to American consumers, from July 15-September 1, Rudolph Foods will ask truck drivers to take part in the contest by explaining in 1-2 sentences what being a truck driver means to them. Responses can be shared via Facebook or on the website RudolphFoods.com/TruckDriverAppreciationWeek. On September 1, a panel of experts will choose the top 12 submissions and during the week-long celebration consumers will be asked to vote for the best answer. Voting will take place from September 15-21, 2013 on both the Rudolph Foods and Southern Recipe Facebook pages and Rudolph Foods website. The response with the most votes will win a $1,500 cash prize from Rudolph Foods.

Alex Lyon and Son Auction will waive their customary fees for this sale and LAP Transport will waive their transport fee from Sarasota, Florida to Mays Landing, New Jersey.

AGREEMENT WITH LOVE’S TRAVEL STOPS
LOVE’S TRAVEL STOPS WILL BECOME ANCHOR CHAIN OF SUCCESSFUL PATHWAY NETWORK OVER-THE-ROAD PROGRAM
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK, April 21, 2008, - Simons Petroleum, Inc. (“Simons”) announced today a definitive agreement with Love’s Travel Stops (“Love’s”). Under the agreement, Love’s national travel center locations will become the anchor chain of the successful Simons’ Pathway Network, effective May 9, 2008.
Created in 1994, Pathway Network provides trucking fleets of all sizes with unique ways to control volatile fuel costs through a variety of proprietary offerings designed for over-the-road trucking fleets. Pathway’s 14 year relationship with its current anchor chain, TravelCenters of America or “TA”, will officially end on November 7, 2008. Simons’ agreement with TA provides for a transition period and the addition of the Love’s locations, beginning May 9, 2008, will facilitate the transition period for all of Simons’ customers and give Pathway Customers additional options for utilizing Pathway’s programs at the Love’s locations.
Love’s Travel Stops currently operates 150 Interstate facilities with plans to grow their network of locations by 20 full facility sites per year.
