Help with GPS for truck
Posted: Thu Jun 23, 2016 6:21:52 AM

Hello friends! I am a newbie trucker. I have a concern about the used truck I have purchased recently. The GPS system installed in the truck has been broken and it looks like I have to replace it. A friend said he has a GPS system from his old car. But I am not sure if it will work for the truck. Can someone confirm if it GPS for car will work or not in the truck. I checked on the internet and found a few companies like Garmin, Rand McNally, and a few more that provide GPS fleet tracking built for trucks. Is it necessary that I should buy one of those instead of the one that my friend offered me for free of cost? I would like an advice as soon as possible. Thanks!
