Advice on getting into hotshot

I am trying to get in the hotshot business. I have issues though because I am full time military and can only make runs on the weekends. I haven't taken any steps to jump into the business, but my stepfather drives his own rig and suggested that I make some runs on the side. I have a 3/4 ton ford, currently pricing 40ft. trailers, and ready to get started. Can I get some advice. |

The Hot Shot arena doesn't work very well IF AT ALL with LIMITED DAYS of availability. You would have to have a MINIMUM you'll haul for unless you don't care. Weekend Hot Shots are not that common and you may discover the cost for a trailer as being more than you might ever get back. Good Luck.
