Which Company to work for questions
Posted: Mon Jul 9, 2007 12:46:45 PM

Hello I'm trying to find out information about different trucking companies to work for, my husband just graduated this past weekend & was the Honor Graduate for his class.  We have had several pre-hire letters & am not sure which one to go with.

We need good benefits/pay as I can't work & my husband is our only income source.  I have filed for my social security disability due to injuries from a head on car accident I had a little over 4 years ago & now having to fight to get it even though they had no problem taking it out all those years I did work.   We have had to hire an atty to handle it which is pretty bad when it's money you paid into and then you have to fight to get it if you should become disabled before age 65.  But let someone come into this country or have a bunch of kids and our wonderful government will give them all they need, but not for us US CITIZENS!!!

Sorry to get off subject but if you have any feedback please reply I will be checking this message board several times a day.

Thanks, Evelyn

i can tell you from experience from working with werner enterprises, they are good people to wokr for, when i ran for them they treated me great, kept me running and the pay was good and the benefits are good. as far as being treated as a second rate citizen for what we need to live from the goverment we paid into i agree 10,000%. if you change your name to some other country name and learn to speak the language of that country you might have a chance for some help, but not us tax payers. good luck god bless , check into werner for a job. i have been driving for alot of years and was not a newbie when i drove for them. wish you well, henry
