where do you park a tractor/truck on your days off?

i am beginning training for my CDL in one week.  training lasts 3 weeks plus an additional 4-8 weeks OTR training.  I am training for an OTR position.  The company i plan on working for has you take the tractor home on your days off (typically 36 hours every 2-3 weeks).  Where do i park this thing?  i live in a townhome and association rules won't allow it.  I have talked to a manager at a local grocery store and they won't allow it.  I have a local Menards, Walmart, and Target nearby but have never seen trucks there over night(in the parking lots).  The town i live in (plainfield, Illinois) has police that are ticket crazy and will ticket for any and all infractions and they have offered no clues either.  I was told to find a farmer who will allow me or charge me to park on his lot, but the farmers in this area are few and far between due to the rapid development of this community.  So where can i park this truck on my days off?  There is a local truck stop not far from here, but those appear to be where truckers stop to sleep, not actually to leave the truck.

With not knowing the answer I can't answer your question. You will just have to search for a spot that someone is willing to let you park or rent .
