awildone2006: Bobtail (when just a tractor is in movement without a trailer) and deadhead (when a tractor and trailer are in movement without a load on) insurance is insurance when you are not under a load. When hauling a load the company that you are hauling the load for will provide the liability and cargo insurance. When you are not hauling a load you are not covered by their insurance. Thus the need for bobtail and deadhead insurance |
