hi, what do i need to know, im thinking about going to swift for school is this a good idea ? |

never heard any thing bad about swift trucking if your interested being gone from the house for long periods of time.when they say your gone two weeks it could be three weeks,nothing goes as planned in trucking.If you do decide too go make a commitement of two or more years to swift,a lot of drivers make the mistake of leaving after lets say 6 mos. on the road and when they return home too drive locally they can't because small companys do not carry the insurance coverage big companies.once you got two years in on over the road training then all insurance can cover you because of work experience.Also taked too your recruiter they might be able too enlighten you or ask too talk with a swift driver and hopefully he will not be wet behind the ears..........good luck |
