i have a 1 ton truck would like to go to work doing hot shot loads, pulling boats whatever i  could do to make money dont really know where to start or who to get loads from can you all please give me some advice and places i can contact to begin. equipment i have is a 1 ton truck, 25 foot goose neck flatbed, @ cattle trailer. i live in the tennessee area looking for contractors there.

Hello,

I am going to take a stab at this one... My guess is you've already registered with the FMCSA?

If you have at least $1,000,000 in general liability + $100,000 cargo insurance there are many brokers that would probably be able to get you started, the only problem with that is they are very cheap and try to take the majority of the profits.

Have you considered working as a sub-contractor to a larger company? That is how I got my start before forming FSCO (http://www.freightshippingco.com).
