I've had problems for over two weeks and no one can find the cause. My truck just drops down to idle for no apparent reason. Does anyone have any ideas why this truck falls flat on its face, mess with it a little, straightens out maybe for a day or so, then does it again? I've had it to several mechanics. They've replaced the sensor under foot feed, checked wires, replace sensor in transmission, one guy thought it was in the cruise control and worked on that. Yesterday the sensor under foot feed was replaced, it ran fine in the garage, but when I get it out on the road it drops down again. It almost seems like a wire of some sort is loose or maybe as a guys suggested yesterday, a pinhole in the fuel line with air getting in? I don't know what to do. Any suggestions or help? Any ideas will be greatly appreciate. I'm at my whits end with this.

There is a sensor on the intake manifold that will sometimnes cause it. It is gray and very evident located in middle of manifold

if you can get a mechanic to hook up with a prolink.you probly have a bad wire at the ecm plug. whnile pluged to it, start moving wires at plug and watch prolink to see if any readings jump up and down or read fail. i have found the wireing on the ecm on volve to be there weak point

Does your check engine light come on when you truck starts degrading?
