Two year old DUI

Dear Jake. I got a dui back in the 1st of 2008. I drove in Iraq for a contractor hauling fuel in the convoys for the military. This is the only flaw I have on my mvr. Since I've returned I'm having a problem getting hired. Do you know of any company that will take a good driver with this over 2 year old record? Thanks and Kind Regards Your Pal Tennessee1972 |

Tennessee1972, I would put applications in at bigger trucking companies. They may be able to hire you because the insurance companies may be more lenient with them because of bulk or their size.. Unfortunately it is the insurance companies that really dictate whether a person gets hired or not. If a company can't get a driver insured, they can not hire you. That is what you are up against.
