turning over a loaded log truck

turning over a loaded log truck

What is the proper way to turn over a loaded wrecked log truck? The reason that I am asking this is because my brother was working a wrecker call and they turned over a wrecked log truck that was still loaded and one of the logs became entangled in a cable and a log catapulted and hit him in the head and killed him so we are trying to find out if this was against the law in the state of Arkansas and if the load was supposed to be unloaded before it was turned back over.

I am sorry to hear about your brother. I believe the company must hire people to unload the trucks cargo  before moving it. This way the vehicle is 40,000+ lighter and less likely to shift causing problems such as yours. Whenever I have seen an accident like a rollover there are people out there unloading the trailer by hand.
