Hi, my name is Danielle and i uesd to be in the military as a truck driver but other than that no other experience in the trucking world. Imy question is I would like to become a broker and find jobs for the drivers. My father in law is a driver and he bought this to my attention and he says any one can do it. I'm a very people person and i can get out there and found the jobs and talk to companies. Is there something i can go to and read and also can someone tell me where to start and how |

Danielle: I work for an owner / operator out of my home - I go through brokers to find loads, but also am interested in getting my freight broker license. I bought an at home study guide "Freight Brokerage Business" from www.dotauthority.com. I recommend this or something similar. I haven't made it through the first chapter yet, but it seems to go into great detail about starting your own business. You can reach me on yahoo messenger as kat_3y3z if you have any other questions. Good luck with it! Jeanne A. - Griffith's Trucking |
