With all the Trucking Companies that went Belly Up in the last few Month, I was just wondering what happened to the Freight that they leave behind. Somebody has got to haul it, but aparently the is no increase to be felt anywhere. Anybody know something? Also ist there a list of Trucking Companies that went Belly Up? The reason that they went out of business is that the freight they were hauling went away. Until the economy gets better and people start back on their bad/excessive spending habits their will be less freight to haul. |

Fuel prices choked the economy and slowed the freight down. Higher fuel prices the higher the shipping price. No one wanted to pay higher shipping prices. Fuel price has dropped, but to little to late. No when spring comes around there won't be enough truckers to cover the work. Should be interesting to see what happens with the rates then. |
