Has anyone heard about this 48 state shutdown that is expected to happen the 17th thru the 21st? |

Just wanted to say that there are alot of Truckers Shutting down on April 1st...Others are shutting down on March 28th. 29th, 30th.. The Truckers in this area in North Carolina ARE shutting down on Aril 1st..please go to uscattlehaulers.com and read the whole page..you will see that even J.B Hunt and 3 other Major Companies are planning the same..Take Care And God Bless All Of Thse who can help get the word out!! Hi Rhonda, I was trying to find some info. on the strike, and found your post. I am hearing that they will be shutting down here in Ohio too. April 1 (today) but havent heard anything more. Greetings from California where Diesel has hit $4.55 PER GALLON. Can't imagine bread won't be about $8.00 a loaf before it's over. A strike should DEFINITELY be planned. My vote is for April 15th. As many East coast truckers should line the highways leading to Washington. All others should line the roads leading to their state capitols. Maybe it will give them an idea of what the unemployment lines will look like if diesel continues it's price surge. AND, if someone can explain how something that is the least expensive to make is costing the most. . . . . I'm all ears. Thanks and pass the April 15 date on to all truckers!! |
