i am going to run a team with my son,since he lost his job,but have to wait til he gets his cdl,but what should i pay him,and what should i do on tax side of it.since i will be paying all expenses,but he is going to do half the driving,we will be running a dually and 40'gooseneck flatbed,any advise,i have always ran by myself,never had a team partner,doing this to help him and his family survive.

 As far as pay goes all you can really do is is pay him a set rate per mile for the miles he drives. Not a lot of work for hotshot teams out there, but as long as you have a sleeper on the truck you will be able to get to where your going and reload quicker. If no sleeper there's really no benefit to having two people running a truck. Good luck to you.
