I have a 2000 Freightliner FLD with an N-14 Cummins, about 2 weeks ago my tractor ABS light started comming on for just a second, and go off, three or for days of that, and then it would come on for a second, dash lights would flicker, never lost headlights or tail lights, then 4 or 5 times ALL of the warning lights would come on for 3 or 4 seconds and the engine would almost die. I checked every ground strap. battery cable, cable ends, and cleaned then all, as well as battery terminals, problem still exists, I even changed the Engine positioning sensor. Last night I drove 380 miles, the ABS light never came on, everything seemed to be perfect, All of the sudden, the ABS light came on, dash light flickered, and the tach and speedomoter went NUTS, the speedomoter would make complete 360 revolutions, it did that constantly for 35 miles until I got home, But the truck ran perfect HELP!! Do you have any idea what's going on with this truck? it's got 776,000 miles on it and has given me "0" Nada, no problems till now. Note: The tractor ABS light will come on, a second or 2 later the dash lights will flicker on and off, last night is the first time the tach and speedometor went cazey ....... most of the time (before) only the ABS light would come, then it graduated to the dash lights, and then the tack and speedometor |
