Swift is a good company if you get a good D/M. Some Swift idiots WILL cheat you if you dont keep up on 100% of ALL your paperwork. Make sure they pay you for EVERYTHING you do. Make sure they give you a CLEAN truck and NOT a dirty smelly pile of broken down JUNK, they WILL try to if you dont say anything, and it YOU who will have to live in the truck you accept, so make sure it's clean and decent.  Make sure you keep your log book up to date and DON'T let ANYONE try to force you to run illegal, it is YOUR LICENSE and YOU are responsable for it. Swift tries to FORCE you to take a SWIFT PHYSICAL on company property called WORKWELL. it is NOT a DOT authorized physical as it is NOT given in a medical facility, and does NOT mimick what the actual job functions of being a trucker is about. Many companies violate DOT Regs, and give these ILLEGAL PHYSICALS now, and if you get hurt, they will say you wasn't actually hired at time of injury so be careful. They do have good benefits. Bottom line, keep track of EVERYTHING YOU DO FOR PAY. They give you a book for it so make sure you keep good records, if they dont pay you EVERYTHING you did for that pay period, DEMAND a Comcheck from your terminal manager, because you DONT do ANYTHING for FREE, and you have bills and need to eat as well.
