speed sensor failure

2000 frt. century class with automatic transmission 10 speed eaton sometimes speedometer drops out to zero but the tac. will keep working and check eng. light comes on have replaced the sensor on the trans. many times. is their another sensor located some other place i can only fine one on the trans. if i turn the truck off sometimes every thing will start to working normaly. |

I've seen this happen before, let me think back and see if I can remember. Will get back to you. Off the top of my head somethings telling me it was something to do with the ignition swith though. |
