Well if you believer there lies about 2000 dollar sign on you will never see.If you dont haul enough freight which you spend more time setting at home or a truckstop go ahead sign on with them. There just like anyother company, promise you everything when you really get nothing. There safety rating is so high no one will sign freight to them.go ahead i made 13,000 with them actuall bring home nothing after deah head setting for days on end looking for load cheap freight etc. This should of clued me in right out of orientation i set for 7 days at home not even a phone call about a load.I finally called main office And told them to shove it up there ass then i got a load. They steal fuel surcharge as well.Never seen the fuel average for the week payed to me always 10cents or mor lower on check.

Chris

I'm sorry that you feel this way. When you did orientation you were offered a few oversize Deere loads but you decided to dead head home because you wanted to haul paint loads. You only wanted to run the Mid west but it was discussed with you prior to signing on that running just a few states would not work well with us. Only being able to load 44,000# has been a hinderence for you as well. Every time you were offered a load you would have another reason for not taking them. You had a habbit of bouncing home and sitting because you think, "It doesn't cost anything to sit at home". You needed time off for a month in November as well for "reasons". As for the $2000 sign on bonus you did recieve $1250 of it if you would read your settlements. The rest as explained to you was $250 at 6 months, 9 months and 12 months. As for only $13000 in your time with us the person who recomended you made $49000 in the same time and has money to show for it. As you said you could make more money running a van. I hope that works out for you.

All of these john deer load you were offering were going to dead zones that i know for a fact you cannot reload from.Like south of Amarillo ,tx.ariozona,etc.Now who the hell wants to go out in these areas and set for multiple days waiting on loads. And As for november i never requested off.The loads you idiots were offering were low paying and going to dead zones aswell. You people send your trucks out on loads not giving a dam if yhe agents can get us loads out or not.Everytime I called agents in the areas I was going they always had the same answer everytime.WE have nothing at this time.Your john deer loads pay less than most of the companys that haul them.Besides I cannot deadhead 250-300 miles for maybe 2 bucks a mile.I live close to saint louis and I know there is freight moving all the time there. And as far as hauling the paint loads i dont know where you got that info from but you better regroup on that cheap as hell freight.I wouldnt haul that shit at all.And for being all owner operator company that is bullshit as well.I know you have lease purchase trucks. That tell me that those trucks get the best loads so sammons knows they will get there money for there trucks.I sat home from december 22 after deadheading home from a john deer load because there was no freight and if you cared to look at the load board It said clearly needed home on that day. Then after the first of the year i was told by your agents time and time agine there is no freight. Then i get another john deer load going back to georgia this time i pick up a load going into san antonio that i should of turned down because you all had 20 plus trucks in texas and couldnt find load for them.Oh and the fuel surcharge at that time was over .40 i got .33 And another thing i find out you jackass turn my comdata card off that has some of my paycheck left on it.So now in my book that makes you thieves as well. And for the past couple week you preach saftey first what a joke you people get pissed off when Im stuck in my drive way with 3 inches of solid ice and 14 inches of snow on the ground what the hell am i supposed to do about wave a magical wand and make it disapear. And you better wake up it is cheaper for any driver to set at home because on average it cost 150 bucks every 24 hours to set in a trucks stop and idle truck and eat so why dont you get off you ass and do some reserch before you try to figure what it cost.I m will to bet you have never been in a truck. To tell you the truth I did like this company and was hoping you could tow the line and up hold your reputation but the way i see it your just like the rest of them. You care more about the money than the people that are really making you that money. We the truck drivers are the one that sacrafice everything and put it on the line everyday. It is easy for you office people to point fingures but untile you get your ass out here and do this job and have to fight each day with agents and dispathers and payroll etc.Point the fingure right back at your selves. When i run my own authority my truck was pre loaded back before i even took the first load. Why dont you start trying to do that for drivers before you send them on a load thats going to make them set in a truckstop.

And as far as the guy who recomended me is also pulling an rgn trailor which makes more money and has a third axle on trailor so you need to get you facts straight. Before you start trying to redem yourself.See typical dispatcher will lie ,cheat what ever it takes. My point you just made for me .I talcked to several of your drivers when i was in Mountana at the terminal and the same thing was the issue with all.Low paying freight to much setting around. So maybe you better start listening to your drivers instead of your egos. The over size loads offered to me at sign on where going to south teaxas and west texas any driver out there knows to stay away from those areas.Besides I told gail i was not riged for over size 100%at that time.So i couldnt take them even if i had wanted to you are trying to put words in my mouth. And i will tell you right now it wont work.

The word is spelled "redeem", as for your complaints, if you need to be led about the country by the nose, then the Sammons business model is not for you, nor anyone else who needs a dispatcher to wipe their noses. Chris was correct in everything posted, you were explained in detail during orientation, you must remember unless you were up all night at the casino. I have nothing but love for Sammons, and if I were able to make it on what I am alloted per load for takehome pay, I would not be leaving. If your household expenses fall under 2,400 per month, you should be able to make it, IF you know how to book a load and stay out of the truckstops. Jamie in Idaho always managed to help keep me loaded, if I could not find a load. Like with any company, there are shortcomings, and Sammons has very few of them. I will be very sorry to leave STC, because they always did right by me, but I cannot and do not expect them to change their operations to fit me. As Chris said, good luck to you, at least they gave you the option of heavy haul, that's way more than I got, and I have many years heavy haul experience.
