Alot of us out here on the road miss the fellowship and singing praises to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ that we would get from going to church at home. So I plug in a praise CD, and praise the Lord going down the road. Just want to know how you keep your faith renewed on the road? |

Hello Everyone, I am a truck driver and an Ordained Minister. My website is:www.frontlineevangelism.com, I have a trucking ministry called "Frontline Trucking Ministries" the link is on the Site above. I put out tracts at Jody's Restaurant beside Arnold's Truck Stop in Tuscumbia, Alabama. I am currently working on getting a chapel or using a room to start doing some preaching services around 3pm on Sundays at Arnold's Truck Stop. I know myself of the temptations on the road, and being alone and yes the frustrations. I want to encourage all of you truck drivers. I also want to encourage you Christian Truck Drivers to be faithful witnesses out on the road. Go to Frontline Evangelism and download the Witnessing Manuel and witness to others as you travel down the Highways. Click on Frontline Truck Stop Ministries and click on "Man on the Road" it's for truck drivers. Well God Bless and I will post here some things I have on my website. Living out here really is hard, I cannot see how to do it without God's daily help and prayer. Truckers need prayer and the knowledge of God's overwhelming love. If you would kindly refer your friends to a Spanish Christian Site, I intend to praise God's glory in all your prayers of success. http://www.geocities.com/poderdejesus |

Lately, I've been downloading podcasts of sermons. I try to read and pray whenever I am with a friend of family, even on the telephone. I know how short time is and how fast life passes. I feel torn between driving and relationships. I wish I didn't have to choose. I need to change careers or move to a large city if I am to find local work. |

My husband is a truck driver and misses church alot. I try to help by getting recordings of our church services for him. Another thing is he has Xm radio and so he can listen to christian music, preaching and christian talk shows. Also he visits different churches while on the road depending on where he is at the time. He has a Bible on CD set that he listens too that is really a big help. But you know, he tells me all the time, "babe, I have church right here in my truck". He has alot of alone time and that is just prime for communing with the Lord and having your own worship time. But, yea, still there is nothing like being in your on home church under some annointed worship and preaching and he tries to schedule his loads as much as possible to be able to be home on Sunday. All you truckers for the Lord, be encouraged and I pray God's blessings on you and His angels to be encamped around about you. |

As a Christian woman on the road in my own truck, I do miss my church. However, praying and listening to some wonderful channels on the radio does help me make it through the day and through the miles on the road. Just a bit of information for those missing their own churches. Most churches will record their Sunday services and provide them to you if you ask. My church in Phoenix, I live in Texas now, but Patrick is still my minister and his chruch is still my church (I know you understand that) anyway, he records every service and has been kind enough to send them to me every week through my Virtual Home site with American Drivers Association. I always get my MAIL. Anyway, American Drivers Association has been a real God Send for me, give them a call if you have trouble with tickets or if you want their Virtual Home service, so you can always get your mail, by voice, FAX or email. It is a wonderful service. Their phone number is 1-800-944-4948 and their web address is www.americandriversassociation.com - you really will appreciate the kindness of these folks. |
