O/O what is your opinion on this???

Anyone open to suggestions to why O/O may not be interested in this position?

Is the time out too long? Is the pay to low?

Open to opinions PLEASE and be honest - I grew up with in a family of truckers - I can handle it Laughing

This rapidly growing transportation solutions provider specializing in the food and beverage industries is expanding their fleet operations. They have just added 50 new premium lanes.

As a leader in temperature-controlled transportation and warehousing, this privately owned company is seeking partners to be a part of the success of a growing organization. This premier company prides itself on providing a positive environment that offers drivers the opportunity for professional growth.

Overview
Drivers haul refrigerated freight to customer locations in IL, GA, NJ and CA. Most loads are LTL with occasional truckload deliveries. Drivers average 2500-2800 miles per week. Drivers can be out up to 2 weeks and CA drivers can be out up to 3 weeks per trip. Home time averages one day for every week out. The majority of deliveries are no touch, but drivers can choose to unload to expedite time if they desire. Drivers average 6-10 stops per trailer load.

Compensation
$0.87 - $0.99 per mile, depending on trip
Weekly average salary $2400.00 - $2700.00

Requirements
CDL-A

i would not be able to run a truck for the pay your offering, thats about what it cost to operate and break even, now thats just me talking, thier are people out thier that dont mind running to break even and live off deprecation of thier truck, but for me i think with the cost of fuel, tires, insurance, and the law finding some way to collect revenue from every truck stopped that what your offering is way to cheap, now again thats just me talking, if i knew it all i would be rich by now, have a good day
