N14 troubleshoot

I have a 95 ford aeromax with the N14 cummins in it. we recently got it and havent used it that much. When we first got it it started and ran fine but latley it acts like it wont start i change the fuel solenoid on the pump, changed the fuel filter and still nothing. once you get it started it will run fine but shut it off and it may start or it may not.what could be causing this |

I would try an engine position sensor. I take it you are not getting a check engine light when it won't start. If you had a flash code that would help. I have seen the EPS fail in a way that it won't give a code but when you monitor it on software you can see that the engine rpm that is showing is not enough. http://truckmechanictips.com |
