N-14 Cummins

93 Kenworth was running surged a bit and stopped. Filters were changed. Mech said computer was bad. Another mech said that is rare. Maybe not enough voltage to computer or sensor on cam. Any ideas???? Thanks in advance |

I would not think a bad ECM, but too many possibilities to list for a surge. A bad cam sensor, bad injector pass thru, injector sticking open, fuel shut off solenoid going bad. Would be easier to trace if it left some kind of fault code. www.TruckMechanicTips.com |
