Be very careful of their policies also.  I had to leave during road training due to my house being foreclosed on and my father was recovering from a stroke, plus my trainer was the best....UNTIL his sugar level changed, then he was a total "prick".  It took about 6 mos to get my house a little bit in order and when I tried to return I found they had a "not eligible for rehire" clause.  I was not trying to bump anyone out of class or training, I passed the full school part and had no trouble in my evaluations on the road.  Millis is probably the best company as far as pay and thorough training but DON"T LEAVE FOR ANYTHING..........They even had the balls to tell me that I should have planned ahead and not quit while on the road...........how do you plan for an unforeseeable event or a stroke.........now I have it on my DAC report and owe them my tuition for schooling..........these companies love you and the potential money they get from churning students.......but that's life.  I hope every beer contract and paper load contract gets lost to another national company......"Swiftly" and "Roehl" fast, "May" they see what they have done to some of their employees.  Good "Knight".......

If you call about your dak report you can dispute what they put on there. Then they have so many days for a rebuttle. If they dont respond it is automatically erased from your dak report. In any case at least all new companies get to see why you left and it looks better for you if there is something on your record from you.I have a case on my dak report from a wreck where I was hit from behind. But the way it reads it looks like I was at fault.Hope this helps you out.Dak services are hard to get a hold of you call leave mssg. They will call you in a day or a week or a month so be patient. They will take you statement over phone.
