This company is a fraud. They claim to be a broker, but they have no brokering authority. Even the owners mother says that she is ashamed of her daughter's business practices of not paying drivers and stranding them on the side of the road in various locations. I personally know of one driver that they not only haven't paid since 1/2/08, but they stranded him so badly that he barely has the money to idle his truck! This driver has been stranded for over a week now without a single load that he can haul! They claim that this is not their fault, that other companies haven't paid them. Aren't brokers supposed to have insurance against that sort of thing? Perhaps it's just me, but has anyone else heard bad things about this company?

Yes theres a company out of Spruce Pine Nc called Double Shot  They did the same thing to them to my buddy was a driver for them they (shawn) sent him to new york and run him around for days then wouldnt pay them and run a truck all the way back to north carolina empty   (thousands of dollars in the hole)...

Yes. I know a few drivers that are planning to put a class action suite against them.

I wonder if it was the same people. Apparently even Marian's mother (Sean McGittigan's wife) has been on the net saying she's ashamed of what her daughter is doing and that she took drivers from her mother's company that she's defrauded. I guess people keep calling her mother to get paid. I also found out that Sean and Marian might not even be their real names. So, everyone... watch out for this guy! He will leave you stranded and not pay you. The driver I mentioned doesn't even have enough money to make it back to his family or pay his bills. He may loose everything, including his truck.
