| To any one out there then can answer some questions for me. I am currently looking at the possibility of buying my own Tri axle Dump.The questions I have are: 1) What is the best way to find business? I live in northern Jersey on the Rockland County boarder. I see a sea of dump trucks every day in the area and they all seem to be owner/operators. 2) Is the money there if you are running your own truck? 3) How do you price your truck out for hire? 4) What is the best material to haul? i.e. gravel, sand, dirt, stone, asphault?
