I have raised which could be beneficial to someone else. I currently have a class d cdl. I used to have a class A until 2001 when it expired. I had surrendered my class a to obtain a regular license based on the fact I was not driving at the time, and I was working in another area besides the transportation industry. So I have previous class A experience,and have recently obtained my class d, but I I only have driven class D status within the past few months. And everything I have heard and/or read has suggested going through another driving school again, for my class a......Best lesson learned here, NEVER SURRENDER YOUR CLASS A, RETAIN IT BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN YOU MAY HAVE TO CALL UPON IT
