Jake Brake Light Activation

I have an International 9200 (1994 model). The Jake brake does not activate the brake lights. Is this a federal / state requirement or just a good idea? Thanks, Fred |

Fred, There is not a law that requires brakes lights to activate when a jake brake is engaged that I know of. I also do not know of any trucks that the brake lights work when the jake brake is engaged. |
