Anyone ever worked for J B HUNT as a driver? Are they true to their word on the pay and or other things they say . Is their equiptment any good or do they give company drivers the junk to drive, I need to know real soon. Thx Hank

Hey Hank I had a relative apply at JB one time. He was an experienced driver, no tickets, nothing. He passed everything with flying colors but the drive test. He told me they were very criticle. They had him test in a cab over (don't know if they still use them?) He had driven a conventional for the prior 12 years. Anyways he rubbed a curb in a turn (didn't jump it, just rubbed it) and they failed him on the spot for it and sent hi packing.

Don't mean to put any pressure on you but don't make any mistakes on your drive test.. good luck.

went to jbhunt what a mistake, passed everything, went to work after being told 32 cpm averager 2500 miles per week, turns out they were paying me 22 cpm averaging 1000 1500 miles per week, about 300 dollars a week, they lied about everything. don't know how they stay in business. finally got home after 6 weeks out and parked rig in san berdo yard, going to try pride transportation out of salt lake next week. i guess jb is alringht for newbys but when you have over 20 yrs and clean record and get 22 cpm what a slap in the face.
