interested in haulin cars

i was wonderin about haulin cars. who are you guys haulin for ? does it pay better than freight? do you have to have a cdl? what kind of insurance is needed? etc.......... i live near nashville's auto auction off hwy 109 and see hot shot trucks goin in and out all the time and am just wonderin what is needed to get into it |

You can make some money hauling cars, but there is more money in running LTL freight. You could do really good with a rig that will haul 4 cars, but that is pretty tough with a dually. Generally speaking (there are exceptions of course) most of the guys running cars with a pickup only have 3 car haulers. You can go to Centraldispatch.com they have alot of cars, but you will be better off to call Gary @ M & H Logistics. He will get you going in the right direction. |
