Independent Dump Truck Owner Operators

Hello Fellow Truckers, As I am not a dump truck operator but am trying to get more information on this side of trucking. Can anyone tell me how a typical Independent Dump Truck Owner Operator finds work/contracts? Do you contact local contractors? or Brokers (which I don't see many of)? Word of Mouth? How do you keep your trucks working? Thanks, Sean |

You can Call JK Williams out of Lawrence, Kansas or Bones Transportation out of Ottawa, Ks. they should be able to help you out..... you can do a FMCSA search thru SaferStat and get the phone numbers. Hope this helps |
