Hello all. My name is David Embry. I am a pastor of an online prayer ministry www.sandridgeministries.com and a disabled former truck driver. I was took off the road because of the three medical death-knells, diabetes, high blood pressure, and congestive heart failure. All of these things are under control now compared to november 2003 when my blood pressure at my last physcal was I think 210/128 or in that neighborhood. It took about 2 hours for my pressure to come done to 140/80 which is borderline. Upon further diagnosis I was diagnosed wiith the CHF. I had been diagnosed with type-2 diabetes in 2000. I have considered getting my CDL again but I think God has better things planned for me and the trucking industry. If any of you have driven I-64 in Indiana ou may have stopped at exit 25 == the Evansville exit onto Hxy 41. Well there are three truckstops there, two Pilots and a Flying J. I have been working on a plan to get a chapel set up either on one of the lots or nearby. Things have been slow but I still working on it. I misss being on the road but I feel that the Lord has other things he wants me to do so that is why I am on here. I have applied to the ministry of this site 18 wheels of faith to be the moderator of ths board if he will have me. If Bro John David needs me to I could also try to be the traveling chaplain he has asked for.
