Hello, I am 21 years old and I am currently a company driver who is already tired of breaking his back for someone else!!!as a result i am interested in starting a hot shot business and I already have the pickup, it's a 2007 dodge 4x4 1 ton, now i obviously need a trailer, the problem with that is i cant decide between aluminum or steel, the steel is less expensive but it weighs more, alot more, and the aluminum costs more but weigs alot less, so i was curious which is the better option? i know that both have their own advantages. I was also wondering if there is an advantage to having IFTA? or am i better off sticking to loads that will keep me under 26,000#'s? I would also like to know if i am better off hooking up with a broker or justing puting my own name out there and finding my own loads? I would really appreciate any advice any of you can give me. Go to the website below and get all your questions answered. Forget the trailer for now. That is not the biggest problem in getting started.

The first section on the site is titled HOTSHOTTING HOW TO. Read everything in there and you should be ready to start asking questions.

Nick, call me. I can't get you going under my authority. pay you empty or loaded. no games, but a lot of hard work. I have plenty of loads. freight is never the problemhere. just need some good honest drivers with equipment, willing to work hard.
