How to get my Broker License

I am trying to obtain information on how to get my brokers license for freight, dump trucks and all transportation .  Any info will be greatly appreciated to get me started.Thanks

Hello..

You can get information on becoming a Freight Broker from the TIA website.  Go to www.tianet.org  and click on NEW BROKER.  They have a kit that you can order directly thru the website that will give you all the information necessary to build your business.

I would recommend you consider starting as an Agent for another freight broker.  The most difficult thing in running your own business is funding your receivables.  I have MANY friends that tried to 'go it alone' and ended up in bankrupcy court.

The company I work for has an Agent program.  I would be happy to share our program with you or point you in the right direction to developing your business.
