Hot Shot Newbie lookin for answers

So here the deal my brother and I have decided to find out what its gona take to get started in the hot shot business I have somewhat of an idea. We'll be running a 1 ton dually with a flat bed havent went out and bought the trailer yet due to the fact we're not reall sure whats the norm.
