having a DAC problem
Posted: Wed Sep 3, 2008 1:21:46 PM

I have 5 months OTR exp, when i was with CR England ( I went through thier driving school) my trucks clutch once the first week, they told me it was breaking before i leased it acording to the wear, and turbo went down 2 times which they said was a faulty and rebuilt turbo. So quit with the verbal agreement that they would not hit my DAC report as long as I took the trailer to the therma king yard in stockton Ca and the truck to the delta truck center. Of course they put a mark on my DAC report. Fast forward to working for JB hunt, 2 amazing months making decent money every week my DM kept me rolling, then on the weekend the part time DM sent me dead head to fresno from L.A.  to a trailer that ended up being stolen. I got there at 2 am because I had to be there no matter what, I was tired and the new JB Hunt Hub and little to no lights and I hit the top of the sleeper doing minimal damage and they sent me home and not I have a non DOT reportable preventable accident I was fired for and a load abandonment both that I shouldnt have and I cant get a job anywhere.. I need advice PLEASE!!

my friend you caught between a rock AND A HARD PLACE. dac is a glorafied credit reporting ageny cept the report drivers , but like all credit reporting agencys they do not check out what they report before they report it anyone can tell them anything about anyone and they will report it all the have to do is pay the fee and the trucking companys that recieve that information except it as gospel , IT IS NOT . but there are a lot of companys out ther that pay no attention whatso ever to dac they no better just have to keep trying , you can get around them . good luck ----j.r. horton
