finding a job

I am an unemployed tradesman and have a CDL but have not driven since 2001. I have 4 months experience form my time OTR in 2001 and I am trying to find a reputable company that is willing to allow me to go with a trainer for a couple weeks so I could get back in the swing of things. I am pretty desperate and any reply would help immensly. |

Refresher course either directly through a trucking company school, or a local trucking school 2-4 weeks. Grants are out there as well as job finding services. Recently finished at one in Buffalo, NY NTTS. Since you have a CDL you're already ahead of others. Fine tuning it with a refresher course may be a good option, and I would think most schools have job connections.
