 Finding a Dispatcher

Finding a Dispatcher
Posted: Fri Aug 12, 2005 10:41:18 AM

I am in the process of pursuing a hauling (dump truck) business and have been doing alot of research. But, still have not found a way to get on with a dispatcher. What is the best way to do this and also anything else that I might need to keep in mind like permits, insurances, etc.

Chad,
You are looking or need to find a company to lease to not a dispatcher! My suggestion is to call bulk haulers in your area. If there isn't any, try construction companies, quarries etc. Concerning what permits you will need, that depends on what hauling you will be doing interstate, intrastate, local? By your questions you have asked, you really need to research getting into being an owner operator much more.
