Felony Conviction

Dear Jake,

I was convicted of a felony trafficing an 18 wheeler. Is there any way of getting my CDL license back?

Having a felony does not keep you from getting a CDL license. It may hinder finding employment though.

	There is one Company that hires Felons. BUEL. They're in Montana I think and they roll Reefers from Washinton State to North Carolina, back-n-forth ALL year. Of course their hiring practice depende entirely upon what TYPE of Felony and AGE OF. If your License has been dismissed then you'll not get anything anywhere for a while even after you re-acquire it. Trucking is a bastard world and very demanding and very picky when it comes to CRIMES. A simple DUI is a Misdemeanor yet in the Trucking Realm it might as well be a Felony.
