Electrical issues
Posted: Mon Feb 16, 2009 3:26:13 PM

I have a 2003 Pete triaxle dump. C-12 430 hp.I replaced the alternator after having  the voltmeter showing discharge with the lights on. Turn the lights off and put the heater on high and again see a dramatic discharge.Had the alternator tested and it is putting out the proper volts.Serp belt is tight also added a shot of belt dressing to the belt.Seems like anything turned on,interior light, wipers, it draws the volt gauge down. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Check the cables and ground wires.
