dual fuel tank switch 1998 gmc t8500

Can anyone tell me where the fuel tank switch is in a 1998 gmc T8500. We dont have the owners manual, but there is a fuel solenoid attached to the passenger side diesel fuel tank which is not operating and the fuel never goes down. There is no crossover line to the right side tank.
