Core has turned into one sorry outfit. They have lost all respect for their drivers and have no consideration for the drivers safety, well-being or health. They have refused to upgrade their equipment to include APU's yet they have instituted policies to prevent drivers from idling their trucks to maintain heat/cool and secure the vehicle against theft or bodily injury/ health problems or evenn the ability to get quality rest. They were a very driver oriented company when I hired on with them 19 years ago. The co. pres. Mike Kock is an accountant by trade and his greed has overpowered his good sense to the detriment of the people who work for him. The dispatchers also show little if any concern for the needs of the drivers and if you have an emergency at home, tell your family to wait a bit because you will be at least one day late for whatever is occurring. I would not recommend Core Carrier Corp in kansas City, Ks to anyone.
