Are you resting your foot on the peddle? This will cause premature clutch brake failure. When sitting in traffic do you keep the clutch pushed in and the trans in gear waiting to move ahead? This will cause premature clutch brake failure. Wait in nuetral foot off the peddle. Any oil leaking out of your rear main seal or front of the trans? Oil will cause it to not function. Is the service bay over greasing your throw out bearing? if to much grease is used it can get on the clutch brake and cause it to not work. Only allow 2 clicks of the grease gun when servicing the truck. Truck stops are really bad about hiring un trained help to service trucks. |
