Christian Truckers Conference Lines
Posted: Tue Oct 9, 2007 10:16:20 AM

Unfortunately a lot of drivers do'nt take hold of the opportunities they have as Christians. With modern technology we can fellowship and grow in our walk as never before. I like to go to a lot of the Christian Conference Lines for truck drivers. They are free as long as your cell minutes are free and have a variety of different kinds of services. Some have church and Bible studies and others have morning devotionals, prayer requests etc.... They are like party lines where people can ask questions and make comments. IThey are wonderful tools for growing and fellowshipping in our walk. Something to think about. I only get home once a month and the fellowship and participation has been a real blessing for me.

I visit a few of these conference lines on a regular basis. They each have various styles and methods. Some are strictly fellowhship. Others are teaching only. Still others are preaching. Some are available all night long for those that like to drive those hours.  Some of them also have websites....

Highway Fellowship, http://hopehaulers.com/contact.asp

Warriors 4 Christ, http://warriors4christ.cc/

Interstate Disciples for Christ, & others http://www.operationroger.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=274

These are just a few.

I try to encourage folks to try more than one. They may prefer one preaching style to another. More and more people seem to gravitate towards teaching. Truckers Outreach on Sunday nights has different preachers or chaplains each Sunday. The Good Shepherd line does the same thing on Wed. nights. Some like the variety.
