Hello, I am looking to buy or lease a truck and become an O/O. I would a be greatful for any information any one can provide. I have a couple years driving experance and don't want to be a company driver any longer. I understand the risks of starting out, that is why I would like information that anyone can provide to make a profit and support my family. Thank you for any and all information! jsbierman1@msn.com |

hi we are o/0 and we are looking to sell our trucks. fuel cost is 3.19 a gallon, brokers are trying to move freight for 1.10 a mile and alot of brokers are not even paying their freight bills on time. i have been in this trucking thing for 26 years and husband has been 34 years and we have had enough of all of the changes and the cost involved. it really is not a profit thing any more. everyone has their hands in your pockets and there isnt a thing that you can do about it. i would suggest that that you stay a company driver and let the big guys worry about the cost involved. no trying to discourage you but you should know in advance what you are getting into. good luck |
