American Drivers Association

For all of you folks who are just finishing or who just finished school.   I have been on the road about 10 years and contrary to what some folks will tell you, no matter how careful you are, it is a fact, eventually you will be given a citation.  Whether it is for Speeding, Failure to obey a traffic control device, or whatever.  When you complete your training and get your CDL, every officer out there considers you to be a PROFESSIONAL driver, so be careful.  WHEN you do get that first ticket, make sure you are a member of American Drivers Association.  They help you fight to keep your MVR clean and make sure anything on your DAC report is correct.  They have treated me very well over the years.  Their number is toll free: 1-800-944-4948.  And if you have access to the web look them up at: www.americandriversassociation.com.
