widespread,I have proof,i have pictures,it happen to me.I called the F.B.I.,I called the state attorney,i called a fraud attorney,i was shocked,from what i found out..truckers dont count...the loophole in the law,states that ,,a vehicle that weighs 17,000 lbs or more,is exempt from the speedometer law...the dealers know this...houston freightliner is doing it,us truck parts rolled back 25 last month,that they bought from bright truck leasing both are located in dallas..bright leasing comment was they bought 25 trucks from us,we dont care what us truck parts does with the speedometers..they rolled back the truck i bought over 200,000 miles.i did a lot of research.i talked to a retired truck dealership,on mccarty drive in houston..he said he never did it,but knew many dealers did.he told me,where do you think those million mile trucks went!well innocent owner operators and small trucking companies are driving them..banks,finance companies are also being cheated by loaning more money than there worth.bottom line is nobody cares about us..i guess all these 30 years i have driven,i have heard us called truckers trash,sub culture,go park somewhere else,no parking,no idle..i guess they mean it,we dont count..i guess they had to fiqure away to get rid of those million mile trucks..ever wonder where they went,now you know.. |
