Advise on owning and hiring driver
Posted: Wed Jun 8, 2005 9:46:55 PM

I have been thinking about buying a T/T and hauling gravel (local)I do not want to give up my job. Would it pay for me to hire a driver or wait until I drive it myself.Thank you

The T/T would have to work daily to pay for itself with a driver. A word of caution: Make sure you hire a very experienced dump operator. The reason I say this is. If you don't there is a good chance the unit will end up on its side. There is a big difference in dumping between a tri axle(which i would put a driver in over a truck and trailer dump)Just a word of cautiuon!
