84 Silverado Ignition

I have an 84 Silverado with a tilt wheel. Yesterday, the truck would not start if the wheel was in the highest position. If it was moved down, it would start. Today, we got in it, and the ignition switch went limp. It turned but with no resistance at all. It would not engage anything. Is there a pin of some kind that might have broken? We changed the ignition(key) switch out and it does the same thing. The truck can not be put in gear or neutral or anything. HELP!!!! |
