2005 Freightliner smart shift

I first started out with a speedometer problem and replaced both speed sensors. Then my smart shift transmission on the shift number indicator started flashing a "F" while going down the road in 10th gear. I replaced the shift low high selonoid and still have the problem. When it does this is won't shift up or down until the truck sits for a while. It shifts good until this "F" appears on the indicator. I've been told that I have a data link problem and a clutch out. Who knows the answer? The truck shifts and runs good until this "F" appears and has no fault codes stored. I could write a book on what it has done in the past but maybe someone has already had this problem. |
